Features of the Dake Johnson Mitering Horizontal Bandsaw
-
Head down feed is gravity fed and controlled
by way of an infinitely variable flow control valve. The flow
control allows for presetting the down feed rate and retaining
this setting at the end of the cut to minimize dead air
cutting.
-
Multimode features allow three different
cutting modes: 1. Manual mode 2. Manual mode with hydraulic
down feed regulation 3. Automatic down feed
-
Heavy cast head frame for rigidity and
roller and carbide guides for optimum cutting quality. Easily
set the most appropriate blade and head descend speed
according to the stock material, size and shape for maximum
efficiency.
-
Quick set cam-activated vises. Adjustable
vise with handwheel for initial set up and quick release cam
lever for repeat cutting. Vise on the Trad 300 model is gib
adjustable.
-
Drive system. Direct drive means full power
to the drive wheel without horse power loss through belts and
pulleys. Low maintenance without belts and pulleys.
-
Miter up to 60º to the right, and anywhere
in between. They head, NOT the material, rotates for angle
cutting. (Trad 300 will miter up to 45º left.)
